Ceramic medium vintage style pine christmas tree
This style of ceramic tree was and remains one of the most popular designs - instead of acrylic paint the tree is glazed with a kiln fired glaze. Darker green is used in the example but various shades are available. This christmas pine tree is very detailed hand made and sits on a holly leaf base. Very high quality - painted to last. Tips of branches brushed with kiln fired snow - please be aware kiln fired snow results with a slight green tinge in spots, which is characteristic of this vintage style of tree. If this green tinge is not desired, let us know and we can add snow after firing that will not have any green in it. Comes with electric kit, birds/bulbs and star. Extra birds/bulbs will be included in case of loss. Colour of star may vary. Easy to assemble - the birds and star are delicate and so we provide them separate in the box, just use a glue that dries clear to assemble your tree. This insures that your beautiful tree arrives to you completely intact with no broken birds/star. The base is designed for the electric kit - inserts easily.

Tree: 11 inches high, 9.5 inches wide along the bottom
Base: 6.5 inches in diameter and about 2.5 inches high
Thus full tree height with base is 13.5 inches, and about 15 inches high when assembled with both base and star.
**This item is extremely popular for the Holiday season. I hand make it in my shop: we pour the mold, sand the item of any imperfections, and then fire in one of our studio's kilns. The green is added with a kiln fired glaze, as well as the kiln fired snow. The glazes require extra firings.
